There is a growing demand from boat-owners to sell their boat or yacht from their own homeport or own mooring. Selling from your own mooring or winter-berth has two big advantages: the owner can continue to have access to his yacht. She does not go to a brokers harbour ! The second advantage is that not everyone can walk over your yacht and so the boat remains in good condition. In addition you can meet the prospective buyer and who can explain about the boat better than the owner himself. If you have no time, then of course, we can handle the whole sale for you.
Research has shown that prospective buyers know exactly what they want and do not mind if a yacht is in its own homeport. 63% of all buyers shop throughout the whole of the Netherlands before making a decision.
HP Yachts concentrates entirely on the sale from your homeport or winter-berth. We come with the buyer to the yacht. In the summer you can continue to sail and in the winter you can carry out maintenance work. Viewing is by appointment only. We attach great importance to personally accompanying only serious buyers selected by us. Our certified brokers with years of experience guarantee this.
We record all details about your yacht with the most modern digital means, so that there are no surprises when viewing the boat. As a result of the no cure no pay selling instruction, whereby there are no commission- or advertising costs in advance, we can offer a new formula for the sale of special yachts with a value over € 50.000,- and we specialise these days on Russia.
As we are always present at the viewings, the inspection, the trial, the notary and the transfer of ownership, we ask a commission of 7 % ex VAT with a minimum of € 3.500,- ex VAT. We take your yacht commissioned at least 12 months.
We cordially invite you to visit us at our locations. Or even better: “we can come to you”.
Pls. contact us for a unconditional, free valuation and discussion of the selling strategy for your yacht. We have the most customer friendly policy.
